How to Decode Attentional Lapse in Depression
In a new study, researchers made it harder for people to notice when they were spacing out. The hope is that this will make them more sensitive to attentional lapses and less likely to have their attentions float all the way off in the future. Researchers are also trying to help people with depression learn to unstick their thoughts from sad mental states.
