The Rise and Fall of Docker

Docker is a set of tools that allow you to build, shape and run distributed applications based on Linux containers. There's another project called Docker compose that allows you to assemble all these containers that you're using to build your microservices into a single unit. The whole industry restructured around that notion of Linux container.
