The Kingly Art

Socrates and Clanius were seeking the art which is the source of good government. They identified it with the political arts, including that of the General. Socrates asked: Does this kingly art do anything for us? And would not you, Creto, say the same? "Creto" said they had arrived at the conclusion that knowledge is the only good.
