Hume and the Hume River

Hume built a boat by using their remaining tarpaulin and poles and branches cut from trees. The next river they encountered led to an even larger disagreement. Hubble wrote in his journal that he followed the river north and found a crossing point, and at that point the tarp boat was built in the style of when he had made another expedition.
