The Importance of Ordinary Language Philosophy

The idea of ordinary language philosophy makes it sound very accessible and applicable to everyday life, but it's not quite that straightforward. On the one hand, there's the fact that these philosophers are suspicious of jargon. Wherever possible, I think they do try to keep their writing and their speech free of jargon,. And when they do introduce technicality, which is a moderate amount, they try to make sure that the terms have been introduced from first principles.
