Big Oil Made $200 Billion Last Year, Which Is a Big Jump
The five major oil conglomerates combined likely topped $200 billion last year. AP took in $28 billion last year, which is the highest in its entire 114-year history as a company. Shell earned $40 billion; climate scientist Katherine Hayhoe says you could have made $20 million per year since Jesus was born and still not make the profits shelled in 2022.
