Do Not Call Registry
The do not call registry is a list of phone numbers that are not to be contacted by solicitors. It allows you to access some of the the remediation. In my case, i was able to make an argument to the offender that because my phone number should have been avoided because it was on a federal duno call list, that it was a wilful violation. And as a result, a could claim treble damages of 15 hundred dollars instead of 500 dollars. I spent probably, in grantotal, about four hours on this, and for 12 hundred do dollar settlement, that's 300 dollars an hour.
