GPT tries to encode a certain range of opinion within the rubric of its kind of neutral information gathering and transmitting functions. But it also uses that as a way, as a way to escape the prompts to explore some opinion that might be outside of that range. It raises this larger question: What sort of opinion or range of opinion would we expect or want the ideal version of this technology to have? And then there's like New York Times legacy protections scheme which is basically an atheistic movement. There was just a lot of what do you guys think about AI in terms of how media shapes the underlying values of the system?
