The History of Ezekiel

There are strong scholarly opinions that Ezekiel was probably a writing prophet, like from the gidgo. Most scholars would attribute and ascribe the majority of the book to the prophet Ezekiel himself. But there are some interpolations or additions that have come down from the Persian period. Even though we have these two major sections, judgment and salvation, you would always find words of hope that are inserted among words of judgment.
