Show notes are a very big part of publishing and promoting. Reach out to the person you did an interview with and making it really easy for them to share the podcast episode is a great idea. Like every week we post on Facebook, we always post an Insta story in the morning. We always post something in the afternoon on Instagram. So we have a plan for how we're posting. We always send an email every Thursday morning. It will make it a whole lot easier. And last but definitely not least, don't forget what your podcast is doing. I said, this will or should come natural; you'll want to know your numbers.

This episode is a long time coming. I get asked A LOT about how to podcast. From the equipment and software I use, to knowing what topics to cover and which guests to feature, to the recording, editing and publishing phase, to how in the world I keep it all organized!

Remember, I chose to invest in better quality equipment from the beginning, but you can still get great audio quality with a less expensive mic and by sitting in a closet to record. Feel free to start simple and get fancy later.
