The first auction of seabed licenses in a decade cleared the way for six new offshore wind farms. Wind power made up 2627% of the UK's electricity mix, and that's roughly half onshore wind farms and off-shore wind farms. The government has a target to decarbonize the UK's Electricity Generation fully by 2035.
