How Many New Accounts Have You Opened?
A chase looks for how many cards you've opened in the past 24 months. Business cards are exempt from that, because they don't appear on your credit report. As long as jase is willing to approve you for it, you'll get approved. It's possible that this conversation was in the course of them telling him why he wasn't approved for a personal card. And we know that tru ti've got nonsensical reasons all the time.
