The Techno Utopiacs Are More Likely to Come Out on Top
I think that of the the groups that I talk about in my book as these sort of three visions of coalescing around certain ideologies. The Nietzschean right the social justice broadly speaking left and these techno utopians are most likely to come out on top. In both cases there's an obsession with certain kinds of self-optimization that is disguised as something else. We're buying into a system that is designed to kind of intensify these existing cultural qualities and intensify these qualities in ourselves.
