Orchard is a new version of the biqon protocol. It has been designed to be faster and more efficient than sapling. But it doesn't have higher capacity, which some users may not notice. There are other things that we've introduced in the n five up grade soteng parallel with orchard. For example, unified addresses, which allow you to specify an address from more than one pool,. A that looks like a single address to a user. And also am a new transaction version v five transactions, which have non maluable transaction ideas.
In this week’s episode, Anna explores Halo 2 with Daira Hopwood and Str4d, cryptographic engineers at Electric Coin Company. They explored what new ideas Halo introduced and how Halo 2 built on these ideas, adding optimisations such as adding Plonk-ish arithmetization to take what was a breakthrough to a production ready proving system.
