After the White House farm murders, inquiries also revealed that Jeremy had applied for a deep sea diving course while he was in New Zealand. He couldn't go through with it because of a lack of money but rumor spread within the family that he had actually failed the medical due to a skull fracture as a baby. And apparently this return from New Zealand was a real turning point in Jeremy's behaviour according to the rest of the Bamba family. They say that it's this stage in the game when he becomes devious. It was soon after this in 1983 that Jeremy met Julie Mugford. She is yet another vital character in our story today.
