Dr. Craig: The most powerful negative case that I've ever read concerning the resurrection of Jesus by an esteemed New Testament scholar who's very objective and credible is an essay by Dale Allison. For all his skepticism, which I think is excessive, he still comes in the end to affirming the historicity of the empty tomb or postmortem appearances. But you will not find anywhere a more critical and objective sifting of the evidence than in Dale Allison's work on the resurrection.
