The Changes in Xinjiang

Xinjiang has gone through a lot of changes and I don't think it's getting, it doesn't sound like it's getting any better since the last time. Mongolia is an independent country but primarily under Russian influence or Chinese influence at this point. It still has these ancient cities that are just, you know, nothing but rubble now. Like no one's lived there for hundreds of years, but the walls are still there and, uh, it just looks so like ancient.
