The Neuroscience of Neurons

A neuron is a cell with a sometimes long axon to reach out to other cells and little fingery dendrites at the end. They also kind of look like if a bird had a bunch of toes and then those toes had toes. So how are all these neurons just chit, chad and gabbin? They're shooting the shit running the show up there. What are they doing? My favorite part of neuroscience is the fact that neurons use both electricity and chemicals.
