The Differences Between Svechyn and Tukacheski

Svechyn was very keen to situate the military instrument within the political arena. Tukacheski rejected the idea of that class, it's an idea of war as a continuation of policy by other means. A Soviet era where you had an offensive political regime would have been more naturally tied to the idea of linking warfare and politics in a Svechyn kind of way.
