How to Juice the Growth of the Economy
During the QE era, we've seen money printing grow a lot faster than the economy. This suggests to me that the money printing has been very successful at creating inflation in the last few years. The labor share of income has been a structural decline relative to corporate profits for a long period of time. And so people have been making less money. Their share of the pie, as Warren Buffett has called it, has declined the average persons. We're probably at an inflection point where that's reversing and labor shares going to start to take more of that slice of the pie.
