The World Cup Is Bigger Than the Game
I was a bit disappointed that none of the nations, although they put out a unified statement, none of them made a unified statement on the pitch. I mean, it's a real, it's taken a real penalty on the pitch to show people that they matter. So we saw in match one day two that these games are political, whether you like it or not. We've already seen the Iran Football Federation make some statements. Darth Dreyker, Saddam, did not start versus England, but was named to the squad despite reported pressure from the government to leave him out because he supported the protests.
