i would submit that the united states has changed more, and mostly for the better, in the 61 years that i've been alive, than maybe any other country in history. In 19 71, a woman couldn't get a credit card her husband's permission. I mean, how ridiculous is that? And you know, if a woman wanted to keep her own name after getting married, she had to go to court to keeping her own name. We have come a very long way. Are there lots of other things left to be done? Of course there are. But i see it as having the potential to emerge as kind of the first world's first, continuously up dated global intelligence network.
