Decentralized Systems Aren't Really Good at Executing Long Term Plans

In a perfect world, how would you try to change things? I think the whole governance thing started with optimistic or idealistic notions that we just give all the power to the users and they will vote. But because first of all, like you have voter aid per se, you have like people who just want to get rich and they will actually vote for populist ideas. Discentralized entities are like the only thing they are really good at is like real warfare. Like there's somebody invading your country and you are like a Texan from the forest. That's what decentralized systems arereally good at but not very good at executing longer term plans.
