The Dionysian Festivals Are Different From the Greek Festivals
Nicha basely says that the festivals at sacaa, which were certainly dionycian in character, have to be distinguished from greek dionysian festivals. And i suppose his reasoning for this is that the greek society had enough of an infusion of the apollinian counter art force that there is in both of which are just part of human nature. In t other societies, ah, you know, b and babylon, for example, they just allowed this self forgetting, and this breaking down of all boundaries to give way to licsexual licentiousness, and just that overwhelmed and degenerated their society.
