What Are Some Other Books or Stories That Have Been Structured Around a Thing?
This week's episode focuses on the martian contingency. Mike offers a practical example of how you might explore this idea. He suggests that as they build each module and it unpacks, another set of passengers come down to join them. It would wind up being a little bit more expansive each time with a larger cast of characters. And it would also allow me to pace adding in the hundred people that i need to bring down to the planet without overwhelming the readers all up at the front.
