The Difference Between a Quack and a Doctor
Marxism and psychoanalysis are precluded from being science because they can accommodate any new evidence. If every possible data that can be drawn at the theory can somehow be accommodated, then the theory is this is only superficially telling explaining things, but in fact, it's not. The last time I checked the number of string theories out there is astronomical. It's like, you know, into the millions. And so if that's the case, then yeah, that's a strong case for discarding string theory as good science.
