How Long Does It Take for These Enzymes to Work at Room Temperature?

Moth larvae chewed through wax in bee hives, but when put into plastic bag continued chewing. Scientists found two enzymes that can reproduce the same effect within saliva. Enzymes work at room temperature, water solution, so very easy to use. There is no need for pre-treatment of plastic with heat and UV or anything.
