The purpose of exercise Ayurvedic is we want to integrate mind and body that's the whole purpose of not just exercise but life. When we do yoga traditionally thousands of years ago rather than just yoga postures it was a way of integrating truly mind and body. We don't want to override the body signals because the body is giving us signals about what's creating balance for it and what is not. So pain discomfort lack of enjoyment while we're exercise is feedback it's the body's wisdom telling us that this is not good if your heart and lungs are screaming out at the top of their voice or your joints are raking  then you might be about to beat your personal best
