How Did You Get to That Point?

How do you go from following alerts and having, as you mentioned, no of your own trade ideas to a point where you're consistently profitable? It's quite a remarkable transition. And it was getting to the point where I was taking trades because I understood what I at least in my mind, what should happen and why I thought it should happen.
