The world's religious traditions are not a reflection of mental illness, says Jonethan. They reflect true intuitions that the human mind has always had, he adds. We have known pathological levels of dissociation for some time and i don't think it's meaningless I use the term 'pathological' more as a literal metaphor than as a literal attribution. For us to be able to transcend this world because it's amist is something we can only do by being free from our own self-consciousness. If you ask me more personally, personally, I don't think life is just one extrinsic appearance," writes Jonethan in an interview with The Guardian.
