The Classical Theistic Arguments for Divine Simplicity

Cammen: A lot of the classical theistic arguments, a such as aquinas's first way, or a ne platonic argument from composition, really kind of set the stage for divine simplicity in a certain way. And so i did just want to flag that many, like theists and non theists alike, object to such arguments,. But we don't need to sort of explore that here. So then i guess we can move on. Other arguments for divine simplicity might take their lead from scripture. They talked about scriptural passages. One might think that it kind of preserves monotheism, or preserves transcendence.
