The Negative Repercussions of Professionalization in Youth Sports
Steve: It's easy to blame parents in this but as you said at the beginning like it's easy to get carried away. Steve competed at the highest level I was a pretty good high school athlete and if my kid continues to like sports I will love high school sports. The problem is recreational leagues have gone away because they've been replaced by this proliferation of travel and intensity.
