The average US person uses 30 times the energy that a person in Nigeria. There are about 3 billion people who use less electricity every year than the average US refrigerator use. It is immoral to advocate reducing greenhouse gas emissions without saying how you're going to get those folks in it, he says. The current administration wants to go to zero by deploying a lot of wind and solar.
