How to Speed Up the Installation of Docker Packages
Docker containers like this are always going to be based on a Linux image of some sort. These ain't your windows. This ain't your Mac OS 10. You have to go elsewhere for that. But in any event, using the binary package manager service from positive is one great way to speed up the package installation. Another approach you might take with this is for all my Docker containers, I really like the idea of having that manifest of package definitions ready to go so that I can in theory use that same repository even outside of Docker.
