Zaha: The way I view all of dating is it's this information asymmetry the parties don't know one another and we have these subtle ways of signaling to one another what our authentic personality is like. Our religious life in the context of a committed relationship your personality doesn't exist until after the commitment so the only thing we're left to do is kind of approximate and signal to one another.
