Christian Parenti is Professor of Economics at John Jay College, CUNY. His academic work focuses on: American economic history, environmental history, and the history of capitalism; climate change and sustainable energy; as well as war, policing, and political violence. His most recent bookis 'Radical Hamilton: Economic Lessons from a Misunderstood Founder'.
