The Effects of Near Infrared Laser Light on Musculoskeletal Disorders
The penetration depth of laser light in tissue depends on many parameters of the input laser beam such as the wavelength. Most studies say that between 800 and about 850 is where you get the most penetration of light into the tissues. Different wavelengths have different effects, so sometimes it's good to be able to look at different wavelengths for different tissue types.
