Twitter and Facebook's Conflict of Interest in Dealing With the Bot Problem
Twitter is smaller than Google's Dublin office. They have very few people working there that can really address this issue. Facebook might be doing a lot of stuff on and around bots, but they don't share it with anyone. And otherwise, I think that what's going to end up happening is heavy-handed regulations like what we see in Germany.
