How to Record a Song in 1979

It's every November and it's a three-day recording summit Friday, Saturday and Sunday where they do a direct to disc recording session. They use analog tape there and it's old MCI kind of stuff. I teach the analog tape class and I have to explain to students like when we've got 24 tracks. If your arrangement could not be realized with 24 different instruments, there's something wrong with your arrangement.
