Is There a Case to Be Made in India for Shorter Work Hours?
There is definitely a research to show that it works in terms of not affecting productivity and also boosting employee well-being. So I think that kind of experiment has to be done in India but if you ask me in fact the new labor code is also allowing or maybe it is asking us to move towards this four day work week. But we will keep our fingers crossed there are no more no resistance no union issues in terms of how it will be implemented. That's what is my content.
