The job of your resume is to win an interview, before that it's to get it in front of a human. Don't send a resume for a software engineer job that says IT support specialist on it. Make sure that like you're actually adapting that resume for the specific role. Most jobs just aren't about identifying and applying for open roles but finding people who might be able to connect with them. You don't need to add more than you do now - if you're just going to apply for open positions then I'm not saying it's helpful.
