Seth Moskowitz: John Fetterman, the Democratic candidate for Senate in Pennsylvania, had a stroke in May. He says an NBC reporter's comments that he was having difficulty understanding what she was saying brought his condition into the national news. Moskowitz said some people tried to shut down any conversation about Fetterman's condition and how it might impact his job in the Senate. It's perfectly acceptable for reporters to be reporting on candidates' health conditions, but this is a ridiculous thing to do, he writes.
