Is the Clarinet Concerto Require a Quick Learner?
Schalmark: I never saw myself as a super quick learner even if I learned modern concertos by heart and that was impressive when I was younger no one did but I was practicing a lot let's face it. And take care of yourself in that situation. Absolutely. No, no that's fine. So another question for Schalmark is we kind of touched on this a little bit but how do you handle the fact that the clarinet concerto repertoire is very limited in a sense. You know it's supposed to say piano. Yeah. Well to be totally honest I think I have less concertos on my hands than I had 10 years ago because then I maybe had 15
