I think that recognizing the power of your network and you don't have to be in Silicon Valley or in Boston or New York or Austin. Having access to incredible people online that you can speak with and learn from has been my most valuable asset. Just having a constant desire to watch and observe what other designers are doing, whether it be through an article that they wrote or through an interview.
