The Conservative Hypocrisy of the Anti-Trans Movement
In general, it appears that the anti-trans movement has latched on to parents' rights as a sort of rallying cry. On the other hand, you have the state in many states stepping in to prevent the transition of minors whose parents are fully on board. In Florida, there was a bill that will go into effect on July 1st that essentially states that if you're trans and you're in a bathroom that matches your gender identity, you could be put in jail for one year for a misdemeanor. However, last week an adult mother went into a Wichita public library with her disabled son; they were both able to use the same bathrooms.
