The Dilemma of Freud's Concepts
Lacan was trying to reclaim the centrality of psychoanalysis for what he's trying to approach as a human case. What Lacan saying here is very dialectical in the sense that the success of Freud's concept was there was in some sense their downfall, because they were so well integrated.
