Is a Low Carb Diet the Magic Solution?

The original calorie and calorie calorie counting approach to weight control started around 1920 100 years ago. The low fat diet, based on reducing the most energy dense nutrient, you know that first food guide pyramid. That didn't work. We have new iterations of this energy balance view. It's a model for understanding how all these factors we discussed other aspects of the diet, stress, sleep, physical activity, could lead to gain by actions at the fat cell. And if we don't consider that, if this model is at least part correct, we're going to be struggling like we're looking through the wrong end of the telescope.
