GeoCities vs Myspace?

Myspace was the first thing that I encountered anyway that let you build like a network of friends. You had to, you know, actually make the pages yourself and figure out how to FTP them up. The downfall of Myspace was limiting the number of photos that you could upload. If they had made that unlimited much sooner, Facebook may not have gained such dominance so quickly.
