How to Write a Great Story

The genres are best used when you're in the early concept days, maybe right before you've done your outline. Figure out what your Blake Snyder genre is and then go with it. Sometimes there's value to have a vocabulary to put around your instincts. And that's what a lot of these books do. You already have it. Just remind yourself of things you already know.
