Pope Francis's Liberal Position on LGBTQ Issues
Pope Francis wants to move the Catholic church in a more liberal direction, but he may have made the judgment that he lacks personally the time to bring that about formally. So he will do it effectively and then leave it to his successor or successors to make it real in policy. It's important actually that that's acknowledged in the nation's most influential secular newspaper.
